Pillars Of The Temple is a forthcoming e-book which aims to profile the stories of marginalized religious and a-religious communities across the Middle East and North Africa—in this edition the communities include Christians, Shias, Alawis, Jews, and Atheists. This is an independent project that I’ve been committed to without prior financial assistance, and this includes conducting interviews, creating accompanying graphics, and designing the e-book’s layout. This is a lengthy, arduous task, especially to undertake independently, but it’s a necessary project, and it will be a part in a larger series on minority communities in the Middle East and North Africa.
If you’d like to help support this project, and receive a copy of the e-book before release, then you can do so by using the form below. If you can’t donate at this time you can still support Pillars Of The Temple by sharing this page and any updates I share!
UPDATE – 06/30/2017: Funding goal has been met thanks to everyone who’s generously pitched in. If you’re still interested in donating, anything further will go towards expanding the e-book.
Also below you will find the cover design and a sample from the third chapter:
